Limited Edition prints of the above painting 'The Raid on St. Nazaire' by military artist David Rowlands, are available for sale, with all funds going to the St. Nazaire Society. This dramatic reconstruction of the Commando parties disembarking from HMS Campbeltown under heavy fire, was carefully researched, with many individuals being identified by name. Captain Donald Roy's kilted Liverpool Scottish Assault party is shown racing across the caisson, while other parties continue to disembark using ladders held, amongst others, by Lieutenants Gough and Tibbits RN, neither of whom would survive the raid. Just forward of the ship's bridge can be seen the demolition parties struggling forward under the weight of their explosives-laden rucksacks.
