DAVID TAIT

David is responsible for the Society's P.R. and COMMUNICATIONS. His uncle, Second-Lieutenant Morgan Jenkins, 6/2 Commando, was lost when Motor Launch 268 was destroyed by enemy fire.

PETER LUSH

Peter has long been associated with the raid and has conducted numerous tours of the Saint-Nazaire battlefield. He also travels widely to give talks on the raid, and his book, 'Winged Chariot', released in August 2016, relates the full story of the involvement of the RAF

Ann, daughter of Captain David Birney, who lost his life during the raid, is our HONORARY CHAIRMAN and ARCHIVIST.

PAUL FITCHETT

Paul, our HONORARY TREASURER, is the son of Pte. John Fitchett, King's Regt.(Liverpool) and 4/2 Commando. John was on board ML 443, one of only three launches to return safely to British shores.

Fiona is the daughter of Mrs Desiree, and the late Dr.John Roderick M.C, Legion D’Honneur. She is also the niece of Lieutenant Joseph B Houghton M.C, who was on ML443 and who returned from the Raid.
